Jeep Avenger received a battery of 54 kWh and a power reserve of up to 550 km
As part of the Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l'Automobile de Paris), Stellantis presented the first Jeep electric car. The 2023 electric Jeep Avenger is equipped with a single 154 horsepower (115 kW) engine with 260 nm of torque.
The electric motor is powered by a 54 kWh battery, which was developed by Stellantis itself. It provides a mileage of about 400 km in the combined cycle of WLTP, and when used only in the city, the autonomy should reach 550 km. When using 100 kW fast charging, the energy reserve in the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in just 24 minutes. In case of a hurry, you can recharge the battery in 3 minutes enough for a trip of 30 km.
Jeep claims that the new battery has been tested on a run with a total length of more than 2 million km. It is located under the front and rear seats and the central tunnel. The new Jeep Avenger has a length of 4.08 meters, which makes it 16 cm shorter than the miniature Renegade model. At the same time, the ground clearance is 200 mm, the entrance angle is 20 degrees and the exit angle is 32 degrees.
Jeep Avenger 2023 has a trunk volume of 380 liters behind the seats and an additional front storage capacity of 34 liters. This is the company's first front-wheel drive car with Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control systems. It offers 6 driving modes: "Normal", "Eco", "Sport", "Snow", "Mud" and "Sand". A twin-engine all-wheel drive variant is also planned.
