Mercedes Benz EQC 400 Description

The electric crossover Mercedes-Benz EQC is the first all-electric car of the German concern. EQC is classified as a crossover. At the same time, the slightly sloping roof and lowered glass rear doors visually make the electric car a cross between an SUV and an off-road coupe.

The Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC has a completely new drive system with electric motors located on each axle. This arrangement provides the crossover with all-wheel drive and excellent handling. The front electric motor is optimized for the best efficiency, while the rear is responsible for the dynamics. Together they generate 300 kW (408 hp) of power and 765 N•m of maximum torque.

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is equipped with an 80 kWh battery that will provide a range of up to 450 km according to the NEDC cycle. This means that in reality the reserve will be more modest and will be about 400 km. According to the manufacturer, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h Mercedes-Benz EQC will be 5.1 seconds.

DC fast charging is available for electric vehicles: CCS Combo in Europe and the USA, CHAdeMO in Japan or GB/T in China. The EQC can be charged with a maximum power of up to 110 kW at a suitable charging station, and in about 40 minutes the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent.

The EQC 400 4MATIC is equipped with the latest generation of driver assistance systems. The Driving Assistance package includes all new features, notably intelligent speed control and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, which reduces speed to 100 km/h as a precautionary measure.

The EQC 400 4MATIC also meets the highest requirements in terms of passive safety. The design of the EQC vehicle has been adapted to the specific requirements of the electrical components and battery, and configured to achieve the highest level of safety.
