The Exterior Of The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore EV ELECTRIC SPORTS COUPE Is Revealed
Maserati has not officially presented the GranTurismo Folgore EV yet, but Italians are increasingly publishing photos with the car, as well as the video, posted a couple of days ago. The video completely reveals the appearance of the novelty. Editorial note: the electric version of the sports coupe will go on sale no earlier than 2023.
It seems that the appearance of the GT Folgore is not too different from the petrol version. Even the radiator grille in the front remained about the same, albeit reduced in size. Additional air ducts appeared in the bumper, through which air is supplied to cool the coupe's braking system. It is easy to identify the electric GranTurismo Folgore EV by the unique wheels with improved aerodynamics and the absence of exhaust pipes. The charging port is located under the left lamp.
Maserati claims that the coupe is able to accelerate to the first hundred in 2.6 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 322 km / h. The power plant, according to rumors, consists of three electric motors, developing a total of about 1200 horsepower.
An interesting fact is that Maserati did not show the dashboard in the video, which it deliberately blurred. In addition, the video still says that the official premiere will take place in 2023. The date of the presentation and the start of production is not disclosed. Most likely, the car will be presented in the first quarter of next year.
