The New VW ID.3 Premiere

Fresh design, high-quality materials and the latest generation of auxiliary systems: this is the new ID.3. Two and a half years after the launch of the first generation, VOLKSWAGEN's all-electric bestseller enters the market with a complete upgrade. In addition to the latest software, the compact electric car is distinguished by its refined appearance and refined interior design.

The color scheme has been expanded with new colors, including dark olive green. High-quality and environmentally friendly materials reflect VOLKSWAGEN's strategy for an all-electric ID. family.

With the second-generation of the ID.3, we are continuing the success story of our ID. family. The design has matured and the materials in the interior have been significantly upgraded. The new ID.3 demonstrates our clear commitment to quality, design and operability, and we have systematically taken on board the wishes of our customers.

The interior of the new ID.3 combines modern design and environmentally friendly materials. Neat seams of contrasting color further enhance the feeling of quality. VW uses Marvelous Eco microfibre material to finish doors and seat covers - a fabric that is 71% recycled. This is a secondary raw material obtained by recycling plastic that has previously been disposed of as waste at least once. Marvelous Eco has the same characteristics in terms of appearance and durability as conventional new materials. The internal equipment is also completely animal-free.

With the new ID.3 we are bringing premium technologies into the compact class – in line with our Volkswagen goal of successively offering innovations in the whole model range. This is also reflected in the latest-generation convenience and assist systems in the ID.3. By using swarm data in the Travel Assist system, we are taking the next step on the path to highly automated driving.

New ID.3 comes with the latest generation of software. This improves system performance and allows you to receive updates over the network. The compact driver's display with a screen diagonal of 13.4 centimeters (5.3 inches) is controlled by a multifunctional steering wheel. In the middle of the console there is a standard 30.5-centimeter (12-inch) touchscreen display for the navigation system, phone functions, multimedia, auxiliary systems and car settings.
