Mahindra Presents New SUV XUV400YU

Mahindra XUV400YU

Mahindra Company (India) presented an electric SUV XUV400YU.The car is made in the standard brand style. According to the automaker, the exterior was created with an eye on the EXUV300 concept. The exterior of the new model is a restyling of the petrol Mahindra XUV300. The electric car can be distinguished by new bumpers, a blind pseudo-grille and new rear lighting equipment.

The interior turned out to be quite simple. Although there is a touch-sensitive 7-inch multimedia screen on the front panel, but the physical buttons and twirlers have not gone away. In front of the driver is a very ordinary three-spoke multi-steering wheel and an analog dashboard, no LCD displays. By and large, the interior is practically no different from the gasoline XUV300. The battery has a modest capacity of 39.4 kWh, but the power reserve according to the Indian method is as much as 456 kilometers. You can replenish the battery from an AC charger with a capacity of 7.2 kW, or from a 50 kW DC device.

The Mahindra Group is committed to becoming Carbon Neutral by 2040 and our EV game plan is at the core of this mission. We are doing our part against climate change with the unveiling of the All-Electric Mahindra XUV400, a fun-to-drive, generously sized SUV boasting excellent interior room for our discerning customers.

All future electric vehicles of the brand will be built on the Mahindra INGLO architecture, which borrowed some units and solutions from VOLKSWAGEN MEB. Five models have already been announced, the first of which will appear no earlier than 2024.
