The new Tesla Roadster will be the next production model of the brand. The electric supercar will go into production in July 2023. This became known to the Autoevolution website. At the disposal of journalists got documentation with Tesla's plans for the coming years.


According to it, after the Tesla Semi truck, the assembly line will not be a Cybertruck pickup truck, as previously thought, but a Roadster supercar. The production model may debut in the next month.

Tesla Roadster will be assembled at the plant in Fremont (California). Earlier, Elon Musk confirmed that the sports model will be released in 2023. According to him, first 1,000 cars of the limited version of the "Founders Series" will be assembled $250,000, and the basic version for $200,000 will appear later.

Recall that the new Tesla Roadster will receive three electric motors with a total capacity of more than 1000 hp. the Coupe will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

The maximum speed will exceed 400 km/h. The power reserve of the electric car will be about 1000 km. Elon Musk also announced a high-speed version with rocket boosters, capable of accelerating to hundreds in 1.1 seconds.
