Steam Installed Into Tesla
Tesla has integrated the Steam gaming aggregator into the new Model S and X models — you can play Cyberpunk, Elden Ring and thousands of other projects right on the dashboard. The company is ready to offer a number of games in its electric vehicles through the integrated Tesla Arcade system: for example, such games as Cuphead and Sonic the Hedgehog 1 are available to users.
As we guessed, the integration of the Steam digital store can give car owners access to thousands of games. Back in February 2022, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Twitter that the automaker was working on introducing Steam into its cars. He made the corresponding statement on his personal Twitter page, answering questions from one of the subscribers. Musk said that they decided to abandon the idea of releasing individual games in favor of other goals – in the long term to provide full Steam support on the Tesla dashboard.

In July, Musk promised that Tesla would show Steam work next month. And in December, the company officially launches integration for the latest versions of Model S and X as part of the "holiday update". In the promo of this feature, you can see the Tesla infotainment system, which runs the beta version of Steam and even supports such graphics-demanding games as Cyberpunk 2077.
The "new" S and X probably mean models with infotainment systems that are equipped with an AMD Ryzen processor and an AMD discrete graphics processor with the RDNA 2 architecture. Later, Tesla explained in the release notes that it refers to models released in 2022 or later, with 16 GB of RAM.
Previously, Tesla had problems with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) due to the fact that the company allowed people to play even behind the wheel. However, after the agency's investigation, this feature was disabled.
