MoreMeet the Tesla Cybercab—Tesla’s driverless vision for the future of city transport. Expected to launch in 2026, this sleek, two-seat electric coupe is fully autonomous and costs just $30,000 or €27,700. Built for efficiency, not speed, it delivers up to 199 miles - or 320 kilometers - on a single charge, all powered by a compact 35-kilowatt-hour battery.
Designed without a steering wheel or pedals, the Cybercab runs on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software, offering a ride that feels more like watching a movie than driving a car. Inside, you'll find two lounge-style seats and a massive 20.5-inch screen—ideal for streaming or relaxing while the car does the work. On the outside, it’s low, curvy, and futuristic, finished in a champagne gold hue with dramatic butterfly doors.
Though it maxes out at just 75 miles per hour, it’s perfect for urban travel. With wireless charging and ultra-high efficiency, it’s tailor-made for city life and short trips. While it only fits two passengers, Tesla’s betting on the stat that most car rides involve just one or two people. Compared to autonomous rivals like Cruise or Waymo, the Cybercab stands out with style, tech, and affordability—but falls short on capacity. At just 35 kWh, the Cybercab’s battery sounds pint-sized next to the 75-100 kWh monsters in the rest of Tesla’s garage.
Launching first in California and Texas, it may take time before we see it in Europe or other global markets. The Tesla Cybercab isn’t for everyone. But for the solo commuter or tech-savvy urbanite, it’s a clean, quiet, hands-free leap into tomorrow.
