The first production MG 07 vehicles have begun arriving at dealerships across China ahead of the model's pre-sales launch on July 29. MG has announced estimated pricing ranging from under 150,000 yuan (US$22,100) for the 610km LiDAR version to under 180,000 yuan (US$26,500) for the flagship 840km version, although final retail prices have not yet been announced.
The MG 07 lineup will include versions based on both 400V and 800V electric architectures.
The 400V variant uses a rear-mounted electric motor producing 176 kW (239 hp) and is paired with a 67 kWh semi-solid-state battery. Depending on the trim level, the claimed range is 610 or 650 km. Available information does not indicate the test cycle used to obtain this data.
More expensive versions use the 800V platform with a 235 kW (320 hp) rear electric motor, a triple CATL lithium-ion battery, and a claimed range of 840 km. These variants also support 5C fast charging, although SAIC MG has not disclosed the charging capacity or standard charging time.
