Two years ago, Chery and Land Rover decided to revive the Freelander name, but not as separate models, but as a standalone brand. Last March, the reborn Freelander was shown in a concept video, and in early April, photos of the production car with camouflage appeared, followed by photos of the uncamouflaged version at the end of the month. Now, the brand's first Freelander, designated 8, is preparing for sales in China. The first to hit the market will be the welcome First Edition: real photos have been released, and its technical specifications have been revealed.
