Xiaomi Auto’s 500,000th vehicle rolled off the production line in China 602 days after this company started sales of its first vehicle. The Xiaomi YU7 electric crossover became the anniversary car as the demand for this model rapidly grows domestically.
Xiaomi Auto launched its first vehicle, the SU7 sedan, on March 28, 2024. The company’s Phase 1 plant took care of its production with double shifts. On June 26, Xiaomi Auto kicked off sales of its second car. It is the YU7 electric crossover aimed to rival the Tesla Model Y. The Phase 2 factory is responsible for its mass production.
