MOTORWATT Green Energy Community
Green energy (Renewable or regenerative energy) - Renewable energy - energy from sources that, according to human concepts, are inexhaustible.
Renewable energy is energy derived from natural sources that is replenished at a faster rate than it is consumed. The basic principle of the use of renewable energy is to extract it from processes constantly occurring in the environment and provide it for technical use. Renewable energy is derived from natural resources - such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat - that are replenished naturally. Renewable energy production creates far fewer emissions than burning fossil fuels. The transition from fossil fuels, the main source of emissions, to renewable energy sources is key to overcoming the climate crisis.
XPENG AEROHT “Land Aircraft Carrier” global debut flight scheduled this month, presale to open in December this year.
This is a new step in the auto industry.
Xpeng AeroHT brought its modular flying car called the Land Aircraft Carrier to the China Air Show in Zhuhai.
It consists of two main elements: the "mothership" - Mothership and the aircraft. The first element is a large three-axis carrier with an EREV propulsion system 5.5 m long. It is built on an 800 V platform and can travel up to 1,000 km in hybrid mode. The Mothership uses Xpeng's Kunpeng EREV propulsion system.
The flying part is launched with a single push of a button. After that, it takes five minutes to return the flying part to the carrier. The flying module looks like a large drone with a cabin for two passengers. It provides 5-6 flights (flight time is not specified) on a full charge. The Mothership can charge the aircraft's battery from 30 to 80% in 18 minutes.
The flying car has already completed a demonstration flight. It has proven that it can accelerate linearly at low altitude, descend at a constant speed, and land accurately. Interestingly, the aircraft did this autonomously, without a pilot in the cockpit. Xpeng AeroHT previously claimed that the aircraft supports two flight modes: manual and automatic.
In automatic flight mode, the Xpeng aircraft can perform route planning, cruise control, return, and landing. With a single-lever control system, the developers have replaced the complex operation method of traditional helicopters. Xpeng claims that it takes three hours to learn to fly it.
