BYD EV Direct importer looks to be on track to open the books to drivers who want to pre-order Seal within months, albeit with a two-month delay, a potential customer has been told.

The Seal electric sedan promises to be a strong competitor to the Model 3. It has already proven a popular EV model in the automaker’s home market in China, with the brand receiving more than 60,000 pre-orders since its launch in May. Deliveries to first customers there are due to begin within weeks.
