Million Wuling Hongguang MINI Sold
The SAIC-GM-Wuling Company">Wuling joint venture has officially announced that the smallest electric electric vehicle in the world, the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV, has become the world champion in sales of small electric vehicles. Since its launch on July 24, 2020, its sales have reached 1.11 million units. In 2022 alone, more than 400 thousand of them were bought.
The manufacturer of the mini car decided to celebrate this event by providing a discount. In China, from January 30 to March 31, the price of a car will start at 29,800 yuan ($4,400). At the same time, the official approximate price of the model ranges from $ 4,855 to $ 14,800.
The Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is an entry-level miniature electric vehicle. The car is produced not only in the regular MINIEV version, but also has a modification of macaron, gameboy and even a convertible. Thanks to the miniature body, the turning radius of the car is only 4.2 meters.
And although this is an entry-level model, the interior does not have a sense of cheapness. There are several colors of fabric in the cabin, air conditioning, a color display of the entertainment system. The car has an intelligent application for reminders about recharge, supports mobile phones to monitor the power supply of the car.
The Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is equipped with a single rear engine with a capacity of 27 horsepower, and in the GAMEBOY version - 41 horsepower. As for the batteries, the regular version provides a mileage of 120-170 km, and the GAMEBOY version - 200-300 km. The electrical system has an 8-year warranty for 120,000 kilometers.
