Unitree R1 Humanoid Robot

The Unitree R1 is a compact, ultra-lightweight bipedal humanoid robot developed by Unitree Robotics. Designed as an accessible entry point into humanoid robotics, it prioritizes agility, dynamic movement, and ease of use for research, education, demonstration, and developer applications.

Standing approximately 123 cm tall and weighing around 27 to 29 kg depending on configuration, the R1 features a streamlined form factor that supports walking, running, cartwheels, recovery from falls, dancing, and dynamic martial arts-style motions. It integrates a multimodal large model for voice and image interaction, supports continuous over-the-air software updates, and is engineered for relatively straightforward out-of-the-box operation.
