  • Geely‘s Galaxy A7 EM has officially secured a Guinness World Record for the “longest distance driven by a production plug-in hybrid sedan on a single tank of fuel and full charge without recharging.” Under the supervision of Guinness World Records, the vehicle achieved a distance of 2,608.360 km.

The challenge, which took place over five consecutive days, saw the sedan traverse four provinces in China – Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Guangdong – covering a variety of demanding terrains, including mountainous tunnels, heavy traffic, and continuous inclines. By completing this journey without any energy replenishment, the A7 EM surpassed the previous record of 2,369.950 km held by the Chery Fulwin A8L.
