The Geely EX5 electric crossover adds 114 hp and the LiDAR sensor in China as the updated version of the car applied for a sales license domestically. This SUV also adopts traditional door handles that replace the hidden construction used by the current overseas version.

The Geely EX5 electric crossover entered the Chinese market under the Galaxy E5 name in 2024. It is a compact five-seat car aimed at urban commutes. According to China EV DataTracker, Geely EX5 delivered 24,150 units from January to May 2026 domestically. It is also at the spearhead of the brand’s development in foreign markets.
