We are thrilled to announce that the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, also known as Auto Shanghai 2025, will take place from April 23 to May 2, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. Under the theme "Embracing Innovation, Empowering the Future," this biennial event, organized by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, with support from Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. and Messe München GmbH, promises to be a landmark showcase of automotive excellence.
Spanning an impressive 360,000 square meters, Auto Shanghai 2025 will feature nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 26 countries, including global giants like Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi, alongside leading Chinese manufacturers such as BYD, FAW Group, and SAIC Motor. Visitors can expect over 100 new model unveilings, with brands like Nissan debuting all-new models and first-time participants such as Xiaomi Automobile Co Ltd and Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance showcasing their innovations. The event will also highlight advancements in new energy vehicles (NEVs), automotive technology, and supply chains, with companies like Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Limited (CATL) and Robert Bosch GmbH presenting cutting-edge solutions.

Auto Shanghai 2025 will also coincide with the May Day holiday, blending automotive innovation with urban culture, lifestyle, and entertainment. Collaborations with platforms like Bilibili and Xiaohongshu will offer immersive, interactive experiences for visitors. With a focus on fostering innovation, enhancing supply chain collaboration, and promoting global cooperation, this exhibition aims to drive the automotive industry toward a sustainable and technologically advanced future.
Ticketing and Access: Tickets are available exclusively through the official WeChat mini-program for Auto Shanghai 2025. Attendees must complete real-name registration and activate tickets by 6 PM the day before their visit. Children under 1.3 meters or 6 years old can enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult with a signed safety commitment. International visitors need to bring passports for first-time entry verification at designated service desks.
Travel Advisory: Located just 4.5 km from Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 and 1.5 km from Hongqiao Railway Station, NECC is easily accessible via metro (Line 2 to NECC Shanghai Station). Public transportation is recommended due to limited parking and potential traffic congestion.
