Audi E-tron S Sportback Description -
Audi is showing consistency and continuing its electric offensive - with the all-new Audi e-tron S Sportback. The all-electric model uses three electric motors, two of which run on the rear axle. Their intelligent drive control takes vehicle safety and, in particular, dynamic handling to a new level. In addition to the electric all-wheel drive, the car is equipped with an electric torque vector with active and fully variable torque distribution on the rear axle.
The new Audi e-tron S Sportback takes dynamics in a new dimension. In S gear, they deliver full boost power in eight seconds - 370 kW of power and 973 Nm of torque. The standard sprint takes just 4.5 seconds and the acceleration ends at 210 km / h.
The new S models have two electric motors on the rear axle and one on the front axle, making them the world's first mass-produced electric vehicles with three electric motors. The drive layout is based on a modular design principle: an adapted design of the more powerful electric motor driving the rear axle of the Audi e-tron 55 is now mounted on the front axle.
The front electric motor from the e-tron 55 works in conjunction with an identical design and individual rear end modifications. The total energy capacity of the high-voltage battery is 95 kWh, of which 91 percent (86 kWh) is usable. The Audi e-tron S Sportback travels up to 364 km on a single battery charge.
