Fake Tesla Cybertruck Giveaway Used in Predator Sting Operation

In a bizarre and unsettling scene that’s now making waves across social media, a supposed Tesla Cybertruck giveaway in Lansing, Michigan, turned out to be a bait tactic in a sting operation aimed at exposing an alleged online predator. The incident, captured on video, began as part of a recurring attempt to confront individuals engaged in inappropriate chats with minors.

The team behind the sting, known for their unorthodox approach, posed as representatives of a luxury car giveaway linked to a fabricated campaign supposedly sponsored by Vice President Kamala Harris. The false narrative included a story that every county in the Midwest was randomly giving away a Tesla Cybertruck as part of a “Go Green” initiative.

📍 Lansing Resident Brad Caught in the Middle

The focus of the sting was a man named Brad, who had been allegedly communicating online with someone he believed to be an underage girl. The messages contained explicit and disturbing content, which the team showcased before arriving at his residence.

Upon knocking and receiving no response, the group enlisted the help of a neighbor—Kevin Doyle—who confirmed Brad lived at the address and had suffered a stroke about a year prior. Kevin helped by knocking on Brad’s bedroom window, eventually waking him up.

🎭 The Tesla Cybertruck Prank Unfolds

When Brad emerged, confused and groggy, he was greeted by a man pretending to represent “Prestige Worldwide Luxury Car Giveaways.” He was told he had won a Tesla Cybertruck as part of a fake Midwest EV raffle, drawing laughs from neighbors and disbelief from viewers.

Despite the unusual circumstances, Brad appeared cooperative and followed the team outside, unaware of the true reason behind the visit.

🤔 Ethics of Using Fake Prizes in Predator Exposures

While some viewers praised the team for their creativity and boldness, others expressed concerns over using misinformation and political figures in such confrontations. The Cybertruck hoax and references to Kamala Harris added a layer of controversy to what was already a tense situation.

This incident raises serious questions about the ethics of vigilante-style predator exposés, especially when they rely on fabricated giveaways and public spectacle to bait their targets.

📢 Viral Fallout & Public Reaction

Clips from the sting have since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions online. While many applauded the team's dedication to exposing online predators, others criticized the use of deception and questioned the legality of filming and broadcasting such confrontations.

Regardless of the backlash, one thing is clear—the Cybertruck fake giveaway in Lansing has become a viral symbol of how far some are willing to go in the digital age to catch predators and raise awareness.
