The 91st Paris Motor Show takes over Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from October 12 to 18, 2026. Expect world premieres, a big electric line-up from European and Chinese brands, and more than 5,000 test drives.
One of the oldest and most influential motor shows in the world returns to Paris for its 91st edition. From October 12 to 18, 2026, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles becomes a meeting point for carmakers, suppliers, tech companies and the public. It's a showcase for an industry in the middle of its biggest transformation in a century.
Electrification runs through the whole show. Established European names such as Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Alpine share the halls with a strong wave of Chinese and new-generation EV makers, including BYD, Xpeng, Zeekr, Leapmotor, Li Auto, Denza and Changan. Tesla is also exhibiting, and Lucid uses the show for its French debut. The announced highlights include the reveal of the Smart #2, two world premieres from Opel, the new Lancia Gamma, and an electric reinterpretation of the Citroën 2 CV.
More than a car exhibition
- Test Center (Hall 7.1): a purpose-built course where visitors can try the latest models in real driving conditions. More than 5,000 test slots are planned across around 20 brands and 90 models, and booking is required.
- (Un)limited Area: a 700 m² space dedicated to exceptional and rare vehicles, some shown for the first time anywhere.
- Evening events: DJ sets and a nightly laser show on the Hall 6 terrace.
For industry professionals, three conference programmes cover the forces reshaping the sector. Google and BCG present a lecture series on AI, software-defined vehicles and global competition. Capgemini hosts a day on automotive competitiveness in the age of AI. The Mondial Conferences, with partners including PFA, WAVE, BNP Paribas and EDF, look at changing driver expectations and the digital and ecological shift in mobility.
For anyone following the electric transition, Paris 2026 is the key European event of the autumn. It's one of the few places where Europe's legacy brands and China's fast-moving EV makers go head to head on the same show floor.
