Revibikes Cheetah Description -
The Revi Bikes Cheetah Plus features a powerful Bafang 750 watt motor that quickly propels this e-bike to a top speed of 28 mph. And you can reach that top speed using either the half-grip throttle or the cadence sensor pedal assist.
The Cheetah Plus is a surprisingly fast e-bike, and I think that’s one of the qualities that makes it feel like you’re riding a motorcycle rather than an e-bike. And the fact that the motor is powerful enough to get you up some pretty steep hills also helps with that.
There’s some lag when activating the motor with the throttle, but I think that can be fine-tuned in the advanced settings on the display. There’s also some lag when activating the motor when using the cadence sensing pedal assist, which is just the name of the game when it comes to cadence sensors. Although, to be honest, it doesn’t really matter because the Cheetah Plus is a road warrior, not a trailblazer. In other words, you don’t need a highly sensitive torque sensor for the pavement, although it would certainly be nice.
The 48-volt, 17.5-amp-hour battery on the Cheetah Plus is a monster. And Revi Bikes’ estimated maximum range of 45 miles is surprisingly reasonable. But as we always say at Electrified Reviews, your actual mileage may vary.
The battery on the Cheetah Plus is hidden inside the tank cap and can be directly accessed if you’re willing to remove the plastic parts. The placement of the batteries on the top tube does raise the Cheetah Plus’s center of gravity, but from an aesthetic standpoint, it’s hard to deny that it looks really cool.
