​The new Huawei Shenlan S7 debuted in China. The crossover will soon go on sale at a price of 150,000 yuan ($23,600). The Shenlan brand is a joint project of Changan and Huawei. The creators plan to further enter the European market, and in the future the model may even appear in America.

The Shenlan S7 is a stylish crossover coupe with a streamlined body design. It has a pronounced front part, a sloping arched roof and a curved window line. The size of the car can be compared with the Tesla Model Y. The car does not have an instrument panel, and all readings are displayed on the central display. There is also a projection on the windshield. Of course, the multimedia system was developed by Huawei specialists. The speakers of the audio system are mounted in the headrests of the front seats. The electric car Shenlan S7 will be offered in versions for 218 and 258 hp. Their maximum speed is limited to 180 km/h, and the power reserve is 520 and 620 km, respectively. In addition, a chargeable hybrid with a 238-horsepower electric motor and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 95 hp will be available. It consumes 5.7 liters / 100 km and can travel 160 km on electric traction.

The Shenlan S7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which ensures the operation of all sensors and computers.

The new SUV will have frameless doors, because this is a new trend in China. More and more Chinese automakers are choosing frameless doors, even on relatively affordable and not too sporty cars. The traditional design of the inner door handle has been abolished, and a new electronic button design has been adopted. Just press the button and the door opens or closes electronically.

The rear of the Shenlan S7 is equipped with a black spoiler above the window, with a brake light in the middle. Under the window there is a light strip the width of a car, and in the bumper there are fog lights in the style of Formula 1.
