Geely Automobile Presented Livan RL7

The Chinese holding company Geely Automobile presented the second model of its popular Livan sub—brand - the RL7 electric crossover. The novelty is equipped with autonomous control systems of the third level of autonomy. Their operation is provided by 2 LiDAR, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 11 cameras. In the crossover's arsenal there is automatic navigation, traffic control and parking in the home zone.

The Livan RL7 has a coupe-like body with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.24. The front optics are two—level with a narrow LED strip on top. The taillights are connected in one unit. On the "nose" there is a completely closed panel with the brand name. The same inscription is on the stern. Stylish aerodynamic wheels complement the image.

The crossover is based on the GBRC (Global Battery Rapid Change) electric platform, developed jointly with Geely. On the market, the RL7 will be offered with front, rear and all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive version will receive a twin-engine powerplant with a capacity of 373 hp.

From a standstill to 100 km / h, such a crossover will be able to accelerate in 4.9 seconds. The combined mileage (full tank and fully charged battery) will be from 550 to 750 km in the Chinese CLTC measuring cycle. It is not specified how many of them the RL7 will be able to drive by electric traction.

Also, the cost of the model has not yet been announced. Presumably, the base price tag will exceed 25 thousand dollars.
