Davinci DC Classic - Exciting EV Motorcycle

It's always nice to see electric motorcycles that are designed for fun and excitement. Many have heard of Davinci, the Chinese electric motorcycle manufacturer that debuted the DC100 at the Chongqing Motorcycle Show. Now that deliveries of the DC100 are expected to begin soon, the manufacturer has decided to release another version of the DC100 in the form of a Classic, which gives a retro touch to this powerful electric motorcycle.

For example, the DC100 Classic abandons the futuristic body design in favor of a round headlight, an open engine and battery, as well as a brown leather saddle. Davinci claims that the DC Classic provides the same level of performance as a 1000 cc motorcycle. Indeed, at 135 horsepower and a staggering 850 Nm (595 ft-lb) of torque, the DC100 Classic should be capable of some rapid acceleration. However, as is the case with most electric motorcycles, DC is limited by its transmission and, as such, can reach a maximum speed of only 200 kilometers per hour (125 mph). As for its battery, the manufacturer claims that DC can provide an impressive power reserve of 223 miles on a single charge.

As for the basis of the motorcycle, Davinci buys all DC components from leading manufacturers. DC stops confidently thanks to the use of monoblock Brembo calipers and RCS19 radial master cylinder. The motorcycle rolls on forged aluminum alloy wheels and Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, which provide maximum grip when riding sports.

It is not surprising that a motorcycle of this level of technology will cost you a tidy sum. Since the standard DC100 retails for $27,500, the price of the more expensive classic variant is expected to exceed $30,000.
