Startup Colibri based in Romania presented an inexpensive electric motorcycle M22. It should be put into production in May. Almost in August 2023 sales will start in Europe and the United States at a price starting from $ 2,799.

Electric motorcycle Colibri M22-the brainchild of designer Peter Georgescu. He has to use public transport very often, which is inconvenient and expensive. He came up with an alternative way to get around the city. The Colibri M22 is a lightweight and compact electric bike with a steel frame. Without batteries, it weighs only 30 kg. It can be folded, so the transportation by train or taken by elevator to an apartment becomes easier.

The rear wheel is equipped with a 4 hp electric motor. It has three operating modes - with a maximum speed of 32, 45 and 97 km/h. The electric bike received three removable batteries. Each provides 40 km of power reserve, which means that the maximum Colibri M22 can travel 120 km on a single charge.

The Colibri M22 bike is equipped with 17-inch tires, disc brakes and powerful shock absorbers. The instrument display is displayed on a small display.
