# 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ Review // A Mercedes In Disguise

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq ($69,830 starting in Canada, $58,590 in the US) is the first all-electric vehicle from Cadillac and it aims to demonstrate the future direction of their vehicles. The Lyriq sends 340 horsepower and 325 lb ft of torque to the rear wheels and has a claimed range of 505 km (314 miles) in base form. An even more powerful AWD trim is available, but it has slightly less range. In terms of interior luxury, the Lyriq also has a massive 33 inch display, an optional 19 speaker AKG sound system and GM Super Cruise capability. But how does Cadillac’s first foray into the EV space hold up against the competition? And is it worth the price tag?
